About the challenge
The World Bog Snorkelling Championships is far from your average sporting event – it’s a one-of-a-kind, muddy, adrenaline-fuelled adventure! Competitors must complete 120 yards of bog water using only a snorkel and flippers – no conventional swimming strokes allowed.
It’s not just about speed – fun and creativity are celebrated, with fancy dress a beloved tradition. Teams and individuals alike can join the spectacle, battling the bog, the elements, and their own endurance for glory.
Held on Sunday 30th August 2026, this event promises laughter, mud, and memories that will last a lifetime. And the best part? By taking part through St John Ambulance Cymru, you’ll be helping to save lives while having an unforgettable experience!
