Getting involved

Fundraising and donations

Every donation and fundraising effort helps us save lives and support communities across Wales. Whether you choose to give a regular gift, take on a challenge, or organise your own event, your support ensures St John Ambulance Cymru can continue to provide vital first aid, patient transport, and community services where they’re needed most.

Why your support matters

As the first aid charity for Wales, we rely on the generosity of supporters to fund much of our work. With your help, we can:

  • Train thousands of people in lifesaving skills each year
  • Provide first aid cover at community events and national gatherings
  • Run services like our Falls Response and Patient Transport teams
  • Inspire young people through our Badgers and Cadets programmes

Every pound raised makes a real difference to the lives of people across Wales.

Fundraising in your community

From coffee mornings and quiz nights to sponsored walks and school events, there are endless ways to raise money. Whatever you enjoy doing, you can turn it into a fundraiser that helps us save lives.

Push yourself while supporting our charity – whether that’s running the Cardiff Half Marathon, cycling across Wales, climbing Snowdon, or even skydiving. Every step, mile, or leap you take helps us continue our work.
