About the course

Our First Aid at Work Requalification Blended 2-day training course is perfect if the time has come to renew your First Aid at Work certificate and want the added flexibility to suit your schedule. As part of our customer care programme we will contact you when your First Aid at Work certificate is due to expire to…

We appreciate that your time is valuable and that it may be difficult to find two consecutive days to renew your First Aid at Work certification. That’s why with our convenient blended option you can complete the first day of training virtually up to 6 weeks before joining us in-person for the second day. Here at St John Ambulance Cymru we want to make our First Aid at Work training as convenient as possible so that you learn effectively.

No. The only difference is that this blended course option allows you to do the first day of training online in your own time. Everything else is the same. This course will still enable you to renew your First Aid at Work certificate for a further 3 years and allow you to remain a qualified first aider for your workplace.

It’s really important that before your certificate expires that you take our First Aid at Work Requalification course. If your certificate is out of date, then you can no longer be a first aider for your place of work. Employers have a duty of care to ensure that there are always people qualified to deliver first aid on-site should there be a situation that requires it. Once you complete this requalification course successfully, your certificate will be valid for a further 3 years.
